The Nu Language

A universal language based on numbers

Introduction

The development of international relations has increased the need for communication between people. However, commonly used languages are not widespread everywhere and the variety of phonetic transcriptions creates additional obstacles. The Nu Language was created as a solution to these problems.

The Project

The Nu Language uses lemmas formed exclusively from the numeric digits 0 to 9, each associated with a unique and easily pronounceable sound. The simplicity of grammatical and syntactic rules makes learning fast and universal.

Grammar and Syntax

Each category of lemmas (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.) is recognizable thanks to specific affixes. The mixed tree-and-sequence structure allows unlimited expansion and immediate understanding.

Advantages and Limits

Advantages: ease of learning, cultural neutrality, applicability in digital systems, adaptability to sign language.

Limits: initial lexical poverty, less musicality compared to traditional languages, need for educational and political support.

Applications

The Nu Language can be used in international communication, in digital transmissions and as an inclusive tool for people with hearing or speech impairments. It also lends itself to applications in cryptography and coding.

Conclusion

The Nu Language is a simple, neutral and universal auxiliary language, founded on numbers. With further development and the integration of a larger vocabulary, it could promote more accessible and shared global communication.
